Underwater Photography

     My interest in underwater photography began during my university years, when I majored in biology and worked in an ichthyology lab, often joining field surveys. At the same time, I was president of the diving club and spent much of my time underwater. These experiences deepened my fascination with marine life and inspired me to start documenting it through photography.

     
     Underwater creatures are captivating — their colors shift and fade in the absence of light, appearing blue and subdued. Yet, once illuminated, they reveal brilliant hues and intricate forms, many of them too small to notice at first glance. Through diving and photography, I find joy in observing and capturing these remarkable beings that inhabit the ocean.
